It was a great experiencePosted on Satya Vaishnav20/12/2025Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I had a really nice experience at this yoga school. I came here for a 100-hour retreat, and honestly the rooms, teachers, and facilities are all very good. During my stay, I was taught Hatha Yoga, Ashtanga Yoga, Yoga Philosophy, and Ayurveda Yoga. A special thanks to Neeraj Sir, who taught Ashtanga Yoga in a very clear and effective way, and Upendra Sir, whose Pranayama sessions were excellent and easy to understand. The people here are also very friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. The facilities are well maintained, and the food was really nice and nourishing. One thing to keep in mind: if you are planning to come here, it’s better to opt for the 200-hour Yoga TTC, because the curriculum is the same for people coming for a short stay (like 10 days) and for those receiving a TTC certificate. Overall, it was a positive and enriching experience, and I would definitely recommend this place to anyone serious about yoga practice.Posted on saakshi joshi08/12/2025Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. 100 Hour Kundalini Yoga Teacher Training Curriculum
Shatkarma (Yogic Cleansing)
In the 100 Hour Kundalini Yoga Teacher Training, Shatkarma (yogic cleansing techniques) plays a vital role in preparing the body and mind for advanced spiritual practices. These traditional purification methods help detoxify the internal system, remove energetic blockages, and create balance within the nervous system.
Yogic cleansing techniques are designed to prepare practitioners for deeper practices such as Asana, Kriya, Pranayama, and Meditation. In Kundalini Yoga, Shatkarma is especially important as it purifies the inner energy channels (Nadis), allowing the safe and gradual awakening of dormant Kundalini energy.
Through consistent practice, students experience improved digestion, enhanced breathing capacity, mental clarity, and increased vitality.
Shatkarma Techniques Included in the Training:
Jal Neti – Nasal cleansing with saline water to improve respiratory health and concentration.
Sutra Neti – Advanced nasal purification to clear blockages and strengthen nasal passages.
Kunjal Dhauti – Internal cleansing technique that supports digestive detox and emotional release.
Kapalbhati – Powerful breathing kriya that purifies the lungs and energizes the mind.
Tratak – Concentration practice that enhances focus and activates inner awareness.
Sahaja Agnisar Dhauti – Abdominal cleansing technique that stimulates digestive fire and balances internal energy.
These traditional kriyas are taught with proper guidance and safety measures during the 100 Hour Kundalini Yoga Teacher Training, ensuring students build a strong physical and energetic foundation for higher yogic practices.
Mudra (Energy Gestures)
In the 100 Hour Kundalini Yoga Teacher Training, the study and practice of Mudras (energy gestures) form an essential part of energetic awakening and spiritual development. Mudras are powerful hand, body, and eye gestures used to regulate, channel, and elevate pranic energy (life force) within the body.
In Kundalini Yoga, Mudras help activate subtle energy pathways (Nadis), balance the chakras, and support the safe awakening of dormant Kundalini energy. When practiced with breath control and concentration, these sacred gestures enhance meditation, strengthen inner awareness, and create energetic stability.
Regular practice of Mudras improves focus, emotional balance, vitality, and spiritual connection, making them a key component of advanced yogic training.
Mudras Covered in the Training:
Maha Mudra – A powerful gesture that balances energy channels and supports spiritual awakening.
Maha Veda – An advanced energetic practice that stimulates pranic flow through the central channel.
Yoga Mudra – A grounding posture that promotes surrender and internal awareness.
Viparitakarani Mudra – An inversion-based gesture that revitalizes the nervous system and balances energy.
Khechari Mudra – A classical mudra that redirects energy inward and deepens meditation.
Vajroli Mudra – A subtle practice that conserves and elevates vital energy.
Shakti Chalana Mudra – A dynamic technique used to awaken Kundalini Shakti.
Yoni Mudra – A meditative gesture that draws awareness inward and calms the mind.
Sambhavi Mudra – A gaze-focused technique that enhances concentration and activates higher consciousness.
Nasagra Mudra – A hand position used during pranayama to regulate breath and energy flow.
Different Hasta Mudras – Various hand gestures that balance elements and support healing.
All Mudras are taught with proper alignment, breath coordination, and safety awareness during the 100 Hour Kundalini Yoga Teacher Training, ensuring students develop a strong energetic foundation for deeper meditation and advanced practices.
Bandha (Energy Locks)
In the 100 Hour Kundalini Yoga Teacher Training, the practice of Bandhas (energy locks) is a fundamental technique for directing and regulating pranic energy within the body. Bandhas are subtle muscular contractions applied to control the flow of life force (prana), stabilize the nervous system, and support the safe awakening of Kundalini energy.
In Kundalini Yoga, Bandhas help seal and channel energy into the central energy pathway (Sushumna Nadi). When combined with pranayama, mudras, and meditation, these energy locks enhance vitality, strengthen concentration, and build inner heat required for higher spiritual practices.
Consistent practice of Bandhas improves breath control, digestive strength, energetic balance, and mental clarity — making them essential for serious yogic aspirants.
Importance of Bandhas
Bandhas play a crucial role in:
Conserving and redirecting pranic energy
Activating dormant energy centers
Enhancing the effectiveness of pranayama and kriyas
Strengthening core stability and internal organs
Supporting safe Kundalini awakening
They create internal pressure and energetic alignment that prepares the practitioner for deeper meditation and advanced yogic techniques.
Application in Yogic Practices
Bandhas are applied during asana practice, pranayama, meditation, and specific Kundalini kriyas. Learning proper technique and timing is essential to ensure safety and effectiveness. In the 100 Hour Kundalini Yoga Teacher Training, students are guided step-by-step to understand both the physical and energetic dimensions of these locks.
Bandhas Covered in the Training:
Jalandhara Bandha – The throat lock that regulates upward energy flow and stabilizes breath during pranayama.
Uddiyana Bandha – The abdominal lock that stimulates digestive fire and lifts pranic energy upward.
Moola Bandha – The root lock that activates the base chakra and supports Kundalini awakening.
Maha Bandha – The great lock, combining all three Bandhas to intensify energetic control and spiritual focus.
All Bandhas are taught with proper anatomical awareness, breath coordination, and gradual progression during the 100 Hour Kundalini Yoga Teacher Training, ensuring students develop a strong and balanced energetic foundation.
Pranayama (Breath & Energy Control)
In the 100 Hour Kundalini Yoga Teacher Training, Pranayama is a core practice that refines breath awareness and expands life force energy (Prana). The word Pranayama comes from “Prana” (vital energy) and “Ayama” (expansion or control). Through systematic breathing techniques, practitioners learn to regulate energy flow, balance the nervous system, and prepare the body for Kundalini awakening.
Pranayama plays a vital role in balancing the Ida (left) and Pingala (right) Nadis. When these energy channels are harmonized, the central channel (Sushumna Nadi) becomes activated, creating the foundation for higher consciousness and safe Kundalini energy rise.
Regular practice enhances lung capacity, mental clarity, emotional stability, and overall vitality.
What is Prana and Pranayama?
Prana is the subtle life force that sustains all physical and mental functions. Pranayama is the conscious regulation of this energy through controlled breathing patterns. In Kundalini Yoga, breath is the bridge between body and mind, making Pranayama an essential tool for inner transformation.
Importance of Kumbhaka (Breath Retention)
Kumbhaka, or breath retention, is a powerful component of advanced Pranayama. It helps stabilize the mind, increase oxygen absorption, and intensify pranic flow within the energy channels. Proper guidance ensures safe and effective practice during the training.
Bandhas and Mudras in Pranayama
In the 100 Hour Kundalini Yoga Teacher Training, students learn how to integrate Bandhas (energy locks) and Mudras (energy gestures) with Pranayama. This combination seals, directs, and amplifies pranic energy, enhancing spiritual awareness and energetic control.
Balancing Right and Left Nostrils
Balancing the right and left nostrils regulates the solar and lunar energies within the body. This process stabilizes emotions, improves concentration, and prepares the practitioner for meditation and deeper yogic practices.
Pranayama Techniques Covered in the Training:
Nadishuddhi Pranayama – Alternate nostril breathing to purify energy channels and calm the mind.
Surya Bhedi & Chandra Bhedi – Solar and lunar breathing techniques that activate or cool the body’s energy system.
Bhastrika & Kapalbhati – Dynamic cleansing breaths that detoxify the lungs and energize the system.
Ujjayi Pranayama – Victorious breath that builds internal heat and enhances focus.
Bhramari Pranayama – Humming breath that reduces stress and promotes deep relaxation.
All pranayama practices are taught progressively with proper alignment, breath awareness, and safety protocols. By the end of the 100 Hour Kundalini Yoga Teacher Training, students develop refined breath control, enhanced pranic sensitivity, and a strong energetic foundation for meditation and Kundalini awakening.
Philosophy of Kundalini Yoga
In the 100 Hour Kundalini Yoga Teacher Training, the philosophy of Kundalini Yoga provides the essential theoretical foundation for spiritual growth and energy awakening. This subject explores the ancient yogic scriptures, subtle body concepts, and logical understanding behind Kundalini activation.
Students are guided to understand not only the practices but also the deeper purpose behind them. Through classical wisdom and practical discussion, this module connects traditional teachings with modern awareness, helping practitioners develop clarity, discipline, and conscious living.
Philosophy forms the backbone of Kundalini Yoga, offering insight into self-realization, emotional balance, and higher consciousness.

Kundalini Meditation (Dhyana)
Kundalini Meditation (Dhyana) – The Core of Energy Awakening
In the 100 Hour Kundalini Yoga Teacher Training, meditation (Dhyana) is the heart of spiritual transformation and Kundalini awakening. Kundalini Meditation helps calm mental fluctuations, sharpen concentration, and expand awareness beyond the physical body.
Through systematic practice, students learn how to move from external distractions to deep inner stillness. Meditation refines pranic flow, balances the nervous system, and prepares the practitioner for higher states of consciousness. Mantra (Sacred Vibrations)
In the 100 Hour Kundalini Yoga Teacher Training, Mantra practice is a powerful tool for spiritual elevation and energy activation. Mantras are sacred sound vibrations rooted in ancient Vedic and Yogic scriptures. These vibrational frequencies influence the mind, balance emotions, and activate subtle energy centers within the body.
In Kundalini Yoga, sound is considered a direct pathway to consciousness. When chanted with awareness and proper pronunciation, mantras purify the mind, awaken chakras, and deepen meditation practice. The repetition of sacred sounds creates rhythmic harmony between breath, mind, and pranic flow.
Regular mantra chanting enhances focus, emotional stability, inner strength, and spiritual awareness, making it an essential part of Kundalini awakening.
